- Route Demo - Ethno - Anthropological
- Sub-route Discovering Loculi
- Installation Via Cairoli
Within the courtyard of Sa Domo de Sas Artes e de Sos Mestieris, a museum and multipurpose hub in the town, a young woman reaches out her hand towards a child, inviting her to join in the dance, all while the spectators look on with amusement and complicity.
The young woman symbolizes the Loculi community, extending an invitation to the visitor to follow her on a journey of discovering Loculi’s identity and the unique aspects of its extensive and diverse, yet intricate and captivating, territory.
This journey unfolds through a photographic narrative encompassing three emblematic thematic paths: the demo-ethno-anthropological route, the environmental-naturalistic route, and the historical-archaeological route.
Benevennitos introduces the first route, describing aspects of Loculi’s folklore, traditions, and popular culture, with a mention of the leading activities of the local economy, still tied to agriculture and pastoralism, as well as the punctual yet significant presence of craftsmanship.
The dynamism of the scene is emphasized by the forms and bold polychromatic hues of the traditional Sardinian attire, presented here in its Loculi variation, which complements and highlights the movements of the protagonists against the bright backdrop of the courtyard.
