The demo-ento-anthropological itinerary describes some aspects of Loculi’s folklore, traditions, popular culture and strong religious vocation with a reference to the agro-pastoral activities and small historical, but relevant, craft realities present.

The environmental-naturalistic itinerary tells the peculiarities and relevance of the natural environment of the Loculi area which includes extraordinary landscapes, habitats, species and is part of the prestigious MAB-UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Tepilora, Rio Posada and Montalbo.

The historical-archaeological itinerary tells the testimonies left by the civilizations and cultures of the past and the relationships they established with the surrounding environment in the form of buildings and architectures.
The innumerable and different archaeological sites of different periods and conformations are still observable today even in the land close to the inhabited centre.

The numerous granite outcrops that rise beyond the green ocean of vegetation throughout the Preda Longa area come to life in the imagination of the observer who searches for known shapes and travels in a world of enigmatic presences. Our subconscious leads us to search for known forms in a pareidoliac carousel shaped by illusions. Faces of people appear in the mind, monstrous beasts and sometimes a mixture of both that come to life like mythological chimeras in an imaginative bestiary capable of surprising in a different way every time we visit the place. Nature overturns the questions forcing us to look inside ourselves and continually reinterpret what we believe to be certain and immovable just like the rock in front of our gaze.
