Everything we can see with the naked eye is the result of light bouncing off a subject and reaching our retinas in the form of an image. The sun that makes its daily arc and illuminates our world is the most powerful and precious source of light we could imagine. Its position changes throughout the day, the seasons and the centuries. A jagged granite ridge is continually redrawn by shadows and lights, taking on the appearance of a disturbing figure in which multiple faces, bodies, hands and mouths intertwine, assembled together like fluid magma, giving life to a legion of elemental spirits that dwell in the rock, but even more in the suggestions of the observer.
