Crastu Ruju is a multi-layered archaeological site located on a hill about 1000 meters west, in a straight line, from the settlement of Loculi. It was constructed during the Neolithic period and used until the Medieval Age. The structure, likely an archaic nuraghe with a settlement, consists of a semi-circular construction that leans against the south wall of a tall rocky spur. The presence of two menhirs and prehistoric pottery in association with materials from Roman and Medieval times attests to the site’s utilization and multi-layered construction over the centuries.
